The Reverend Thomas Hawkins, rector of St. Timothy's has been named the new dean of the Detroit Deanery. Our clergy representive to Executive Council is the Reverend Geoffrey Piper who is serving at Christ Church. At the October 4th Deanery meeting, the caucus elected Mr. Don Wiggins, member of the Cathedral as lay representitive.

SPIRIT OF HOPE UNITES EPISCOPALIANS

A joint ministry between the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America—Parishioners from two churches along Trumbull Avenue in Detroit— Faith Lutheran Church and Trinity Episcopal Church—joined together under the new name Spirit of Hope.
DETROIT CHURCHES FACE THE FUTURE

Bishop Wendell Gibbs and the dean of the Detroit Deanery met with 175 Detroit parishioners on Saturday, February 4, to discuss the future of the Episcopal Church in the city of Detroit.
